Just wanted to take a minute to post this. I recently went to using ALX rods exclusively. I never thought I would go away from G-Loomis but these rods are AWESOME!!! Thanks Alex. If anyone is looking for a great rod, look no further!!! I used the spinnerbait rod that he made for me this weekend. I have never been great with a spinnerbait but I absolutely felt every move those blades were making and caught a ton of fish on them this weekend. You can actually feel the slightest strike with these rods and trust me if it wasnt for that I probably would have blanked out there. The fish were just barely making the back blade stop when they hit. Great job Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see you got to try Alex's rods! You ll never be sorry.Its like he makes you an extenion of your arm and plugs in you nerve endings. Im tring to get up some money to order a crank bait rod.

I know what you mean Frank. I now have like 10 of them and have two on order. I do not own but one rod that was not made by Alex. Soon ot will be replaced with one of his too!!

Just got my second one a few weeks ago, will eventually be replacing all with alx rods. Fixing to be ordering my third. Craftsmanship is second to none and the action and feel are far better than any of my off the shelf rods. Its hard to justify spending 150 to 200 for an off the shelf rod when you can spend about the same on a custom rod and get exactly what you want. Not to mention alex is a great guy to deal with, as always he exceeded my expectations on both rods.
