the bottom where it attaches to the rod is cracked in the front

I believe the frame on a Revo is all one piece aluminium I've never found a glue that will work. If any thing it would have to be tig welded.
I'm with Jerkbait if the place you bought it from won't replace it I would get ahold of Abu Garcia.
A new frame is approx. $35.00 + Shipping.
