Anyone ever use the marine carpet that Lowe's sells? If so, would you recommend it?
I need to recarpet my bass boat. Last time I used carpet from Bass Pro Shops, and it did not last very long before the UV rays from the sun ate it up!

From what I have seen it doesnt hold up as well.
You can get good from your local dealer in a 8 x 20 roll for about 230.00. If they wont help you let me know & I can have it same day in about 10 different colors..

I recarpeted my Boat last year using carpet from Lowes. My boat stays inside a dry building with few windows and so far it's OK. If I had it to do over I'd buy the 20 oz carpet specially made for boats. Lowes boat carpet is 16 oz. Check the link above out or go to BassBoat Central and check some of their sites or buy carpet from a dealer like Martins. It is alot of work and be sure you read up on how to do it. If you install the carpet without paying attention to the grain it will look bad. RM

Boat marine carpet comes 6 and 8 foot wide and is great for bass, boat, or pontoon boats. Wholesale pricing on boat marine carpet comes twelve different colors and wholesale priced. i already using it.
