I have a question for my fellow SCLakes members, I hear and see ads where people state that their outboard is cold natured and may take a few cranks to get started. But once the motor is started and ran around the lake, it has no problems starting up. I am wondering, is the motor really cold natured? Or does it need a tune up (i.e. carb cleaning, fuel filter replacement, etc.)?

Alot of the older carb motors can take few min to get them started but its more due to guys not priming the motors before they try to start them.
