I like the semi-deep vee design. Talking with a couple of owners who have the exact same boat, they claim the boat handles very well, especially with trim tabs.

Most boats on the market in that price range ($2,500 - $3,500) need some kind of work.

I've read that 75% of all used boats for sale are not well maintained. So it's a toss-up between parting out and fixing up.
