I have a 2008 mercury pro xs 250hp and I need to have the alternator rebuilt. I was wandering if there are any tips on taking it out? Looks pretty straight forward on everything but the blue flywheel that is on top of the fuel pump. It looks like it needs to come off in order to remove the alternator. Any advise qwould be much appreciated

Thanks. I was wandering that myself. Doesn't look like it would be too hard to take it loose.
