I have a Fulton Trailer Jack on my boat. It makes a terrible noise, when I am winding the handle. It is usually the worst when there is little or no weight on the wheel. I have looked for a fitting to grease it, but it has none. Has anyone else had this problem and any ideas on how to fix it?

I also have a Fulton Jack and mine made the same noise just like you describe. If you take the plastic cap off the top you can put axle grease in on the gears. I did this and it has stopped for the most part. Had a guy tell me that there's not too much you can do for jacks to stop the noise.

Also some wd 40 on the shaft may reduce the noize also..

Thanks for the help. I feel sure that my next door neighbor also thanks you since they get to hear it every fishing morning!! I will try the suggestions tomorrow since my fishing partner backed out on me.
