Hey CM, what are a few things I can do to winterize my boat, as I haven't had the experience as everyone else has for the season changes.

TC the most important thing you can do is add a stabilizer to your fuel and run the motor for at least an hour to let it get through the system. Stabil is a good product. If you have a carbed motor then I would suggest you pick up a can of fogging oil from your local marine dealer and spray the carbs and shoot some down through the spark plug holes. If you have an injected motor then shoot some down the spark plug holes. Pull the kill switch and crank the motor over a few times to circulate the oil through the engine. Drain the lower unit and put fresh LU fluid in it. Store the boat with the motor trimmed all the way down. Top off the H20 in your batteries and pull off the hoses that go to your H20 pressure gauge and Speedo so they won't freeze up and bust the gauges.
