I am restringing my rods. I had 20 pound sensor on my JnP rod. I didn't like it much - seemed stiff. What line does anyone recommend for a JnP rod?

Cooter I use 20 lb. p-line for j-n-p. Stuffs almost unbreakable. If I get one on in some nasty stuff I have all the confidence in the world that I'm going to get him out.

I go with 25 Big Game all the time unless I am flipping willows and then it is 30. But the Big Game is stiff - you may not like it.

Cooter I got some 12# Stren for you!!!...LOL
The "limpest/easy to fish" 20# I've found is Backcountry Ande....It has very low memory and it don't "scuff-up" on the petrified cedar trees & rocks like Clear Ande did. THe Tourney Green 16# or 20# is my favorite for deep water stuff, it has less stretch. You can stick them a long ways off w/ it. The 16# makes a good CB line too CYA

Cooter, having fished the likes of Lake Champlain, Hudson River, Okeechobee,and other lakes with heavy vegetation, out of habit I use braided line. It also helps in the trees of Russell. The stain on Russell offsets the braided line. For clearer lakes I'd probably go with a 17 - 20 lb co-polymer. Just my .02. bass10
