Does anybody throw a Jig this time of year on Hartwell or Keowee. I'm forcing myself to learn to throw it. Went to Hartwell yesterday and pitched one around docks. Two hits and two misses. One fish I actually saw suspended under on of the flotation squares before I pitched to it. I saw several good fish suspended under docks but could not get them interested. Any tips or advise it be appreciated.

The jig bite will get better once the fish come off the beds for a couple of weeks. The spawn and immediate post spawn are the two worst times of the year to throw a jig in my opinion.

Had some luck with weightless Moto Kreature baits in the past. I agree with everyone else too.
