Ok,So I have to learn to skip the jig.Assuming I get the jig to the fish, and don't get bit on the drop, what now?do I work it like a worm. How far? Will I feel a bite if I get one?Tried fishing a jig today.Very sad presentations, then did not know what I was doing from that point.I was in flooded woods,4' of stained water,at 52 degrees.Tried green pumpkin with trailer and black and blue with a worm trailer.Strat284

This is going to sound like a smart*ss answer, but it depends on what the fish want. Sometime you hop it, move it slow like a worm, swim it, and sometimes I'll move it about 2 ft and it sink again. You just have to expirement til you find out. I start by hopping mine.
