I've bought a lower unit or 2 or 3 or well lets just say i'm on my 4th in 8 yrs....... I'm looking at an Outboard Parts "confidential" Dealer Catalog ...... The lower unit for a 94 Faststrike is $1350 + $500 core. Suggested list price is $2363 w/core....... This does not include driveshaft and shift rod or water pump. The drive shaft for this motor is a snap in type and unless the old one was damaged somehow when the unit went boom boom you won't need a new one
