My brother is looking for a 200 - 225 HPDI or OPTIMAX engine in a 2000 model or up for his champion boat that he got ripped off on. He bought the boat knowing that it was supposed to had a little fiberglass repair done on it. Dealer didnt tell us it was involved in an accident where the hull was busted and the motor was damaged and was salvage. We shouldve pulled the hood off and looked but trusted the man enough to take his word on it. The engine blew the first 5 min. we ran it. They had it patched up. Any way, he needs an engine to replace it so he can atleast get some use out of this 14000 dollar piece of crap. He will not take anything but the 2 engines listed above. Just leave message here if you have anything.

Isn't there some law against selling a boat with a salvage title without disclosing that information? Anyhow, that really sucks. I'll keep an ear out around here.

THATS CHEAPER THAT THE DEALERS UP HERE. ILL TELL HIM ABOUT IT. I THINK HE SHOULD SUCK UP HIS LOSS AND BUY A NEW BOAT BUT THATS J.M.O. HE JUST WANTS TO GET SOME USE OUT OF HIS JUNK. LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND A GOOD USED ONE. THANKS A LOT

Repair shop wouldn't be on highway 24 headed towards Anderson and the boat wouldn't be white and maroon would it?
