buy a
mercury xs 225 or proxs250 i got one awesome. burns half the fuel my old 200 efi burned

THe yamaha Series 2 motors sip fuel & oil.
THey come with a 3 year warranty & use a very inexpensive motor oil at only 15-17.00 per gallon.. Parts are cheap too..

We have had very good sucess with them.

Have the original series. Great motor!!! On the series 2 they redesigned the pistons a little....I know when they first came out they were thowing pistons....I actually threw 2 pistons in mine. New block covered under warranty was replaced in 2005. Have had no problems since.

Overall those Yamaha's are a screaming motor!!!!
And I will stand that up to any Mercury any day!
