I know someone has fished the salty water since the Aug 2009 post. I'm heading down next weekend. Plans are to go out to the gulf stream for the day. The guy at our motel says the Whiting are biting good off the piers. I'll post my results or luck when I return. In the meantime, has anyone else been coastal fishing lately??. CYA, Chuck.

Returned from Murrell's Inlet with plenty of fish. Caught bunch a of black sea bass, several snapper, a grouper. Reeled up 2 at a time repeatedly. Other people on the boat also caught mackerel, triggerfish, blues, and flounder. Great trip, looking forward to another. CYA. chuckster1.
