Went out yesterday evening on the Wando to catch the high tide and pole around on the flats, fought the wind and waves all the way to the first spot which was pretty sheltered thankfully but still had a slight ripple on the water, spotted a tail and hooked up pretty quickly, went 7.5# gave up the bow and went to looking, spotted several more and had no takers either would swim past the bait or just spook and haul @$$ had one take the bait but got a gob of grass with it so the hook didn't set, had to boogie off the flats before we were left high and dry and manage to boat a few small trout (all released) at a spot on the way back to the ramp, felt awful nice with the temp in the low 80's at sunset
