Son-n-law and I made a trip to Percy Priest lake yesterday. It is the first till since my health stopped me from fishing this late in the Fall and didn't catch a lot of big fish but caught a bunch of fish and enjoyed the day on the lake for sure. Caught some Largemouths, Smallmouths and Spots. Air temps in the 70's , 5 to 10 winds, Water temps in the upper 50 to lower 60's depending on where we fished. Caught most of our fish on some of my Danny B Stick baits and Tubes. Got on the lake at 9AM and off at 2:30 PM and probably caught 30 fish with a small limit of Largemouth but catching an 18 inch Smallmouth didn't happen. Lake is in draw down mode and down 4 feet and going 4 feet more. I spoke with a Park Ranger at Priest the other day before going and was pleased to her that Corps is going to be extending the docks at the launch ramps on Priest so that they will remain with water under the after daw down which would be waonderful for disabled folks such as myself when it comes to launching after the draw down.
