The water is slightly stained to clear and temps in the river are about 44 to 46 degrees and main lakes temps running about the same even in the creeks.
Some sauger are being caught in river channel at mouths of creeks on sauger jigs tipped with minnows, Rock fish are being taken on skipjack and shad, catfish are being taken in the main channel on cut baits. Some bass are being taken on small crankbaits up around the steam plant warm water discharge channel where the water temps are in the 60's. I guess I will keep posting updates until I get my buddy on board doing this. He will become the moderator, just doesn't know it yet.............
