Old Hickory Bass Anglers had there 2nd tournament out of Bull Creek boat ramp in Gallatin today. Began at first safe light and went till 2 PM. 14 pound bag took first place and 11 pound bag took second and 10 took third big fish was a 6.50 pounder. I don't care how many times you ask them what they caught them on your gonna get a lie so I don't bother asking anymore..........lol. I know most of the fish came shallow in 5 foot or less because thats where the winning boats were seen fishing..............lol. Water temps are on the rise and the fish are moving up. I found some 55 degree water in creeks at mid lake and another angler said he was fishing some 60 degree water down lake in creeks. Tournament had 38 boats.
I will post another lake report tomorrow as there will be a much larger TX going out tomorrow. Probably 100 boats is the norm for the first SMBCBT every year. Keep your lines wet.
