Roy and I fished the Tuesday Nighter on Percy Priest again tonight and won again. Fishing was a little tougher tonight. Rain moved in earlier than weather man predicted as usual and wind got up to about 10MPH for a little while. Caught a few short fish before finding the bigger ones. Partner put a keeper about 2 pounds in boat and then had a hugh fish come unbutton at the boat. Probably at least 8 pounder. I added a 4 lb Largemouth in boat and then put another brown fish in about 5 pounds and had my hands full with it since it hit right at the far end of my cast at about 35 yards out. I set the hook and she began her acrobatics and jumped several times and then made a bid for deep water but was hooked good so finally got her in the net. Those Brown fish are eating up these new baits I began making about 3 weeks ago. I have recieved some reports from a few guys that have said the Spots like them also. That is 5 wins in 5 weeks but nighters ended tonight and Saturday we will be fishing a day event on Priest and that will be a real test for Roy and I since neither of us has been on that lake in day light for almost 3 years. Guess we will see if the fish like the new baits in daylight hours also.........
