Fished Watauga Lake Saturday from 7:45a-3p. Water temps ranged from 44 early to 48.8 later in the day. Caught 10 bass total. 3 smallmouth, 4 largemouth and 3 spots. Most fish came on jerkbait, fished extremely slow. Biggest fish, 3lb smallmouth. Fished again Sunday afternoon 4:30p-7:30p. Water temp from 47-52 depending on where you were. Caught 5 fish, 2 smallmouth, 2 largemouth and 1 spot on same jerkbait. Bigger fish starting to move up, had 2 smallmouth over 4 lbs, one nice 19 3/4 inch brown mama that absolutely crushed the jerkbait. Tight lines.
