Spent Christmas at the in-laws again this year in the Deerfield/Pompono Beach area of Florida. Fished my Mother-in laws lake for peacock bass and, like last year, it didn't disapoint me. I'm fast becoming a peacock bass lover. For those of you who have never caught one, once you do, you may never fish for largemouths again...I caught over 20 on this trip with one largemouth as well. Most were around 3 lbs but a few over 4! All from the bank too. Most of South Florida is now infested with these great fish. Caught some in the canals by my sister's house in Coconut Creek as well.
Now I know exactly where I'm moving once all the water in the upstate is gone!!! Happy New Year to all.....
