Well the darn crappie didn't bite too well.. I only got one of them on minnows. About 2 pm I had a hit and ended up with a bass 21" long about 5.5 lbs according to the golden rule. Now that was caught on one of them little flimsy 9ft extending crappie poles... I had not re-fitted the rod since last year so I have no idea what test line is on it nor what kind of hook??? I had to pull hard to get her out of the weeds so it must be good stuff.

Now that was a good fight


Then I took the OLD CAJUN into the boat repair place. the lower unit doesn't seem to be going into gear as well as it should. When I take off it kind of bumps like I had a semi hard object like a GATOR. There has been too many of them incidents to be a gator so its the lower unit... Perhaps I will find out Monday..
