After a day of hearing about the tornadoes all day I went out in the late morning for a little fishing. It was spitting rain on and off most of the day and coolish. The bass HAD been on the beds as you can see little hunks of plastic flaggin on the above water grasses. Its so cold the bass may have been there but are gone now. I managed to catch 2 bass on spinner baits but none above 3lbs... EXCEPT for the 7lb or so mudfish that hit the 8" Dead Ringer... Darn those things hit just like a bass.
Darn helicopters were flying over the lake all day taking the govenor, us senators, us reps, and FEMA folks for joy rides over my fishing lake.
The Lake Yale Baptist Retreat right there is hit hard and the steeple was blown down but them Baptists quickly got it back up. They had 30+ trees blown down and the power poles down.. I guess its mostly fixed now. Just across the strees and to the N a few hundred yards 2 homes are destroyed.. The lake has HOUSE JUNK in it now... I saw 12ft 2 x 4's in the water on the N shore of the lake as well as plastic junk from the storms... One chunk must has come off of a boat... looked like one of those sunscrens
