I have now fished here 5 times in the past 3 weeks and today the bass started to bite... I caught 4 with two of them 3+ lbs each...
3 on spinner bait white silver blade..
1 crankbait... 10:45am to 2:45 pm
Water temp 63-65F
Air temp near 80F.
Water low Hickory Knob park... only 2 of 8 ramps open..
No gators. No snakes..
Bass fishermen busy running around.
Water craft out... personal water craft too.
Fished outside canals per the advice of bass pros at Bass Pro in Orlando.. Talked to 2 others when I got in about 3pm and I must have done OK... others were crying. Saw bass on beds 1.5 weeks ago on S end of Harris... in a river... but just bucky... saw a couple of girls but they were skitterish..
