I make up some good Spoon "Get-er-backers" by use'n a gaint snap{#6 i think} attached to a 3oz "bank" type sinker. Works good on the deep 20'+ sppons hung in the timber as long as you get DIRECTLY over your hung up bait. Just get the line tight before you snap the wt. to your line. Drop it in and in a second or 2 your spoon is loose. If the first drop don't free it most times if you jig it it'll werk it free. Don't work good opn CB especially if you use a snap....tends to Un-do that snap. Works on JnP/TX-rigs too. This extra heavy weight works a lot better than the "pocket rocks" you can buy....CYA
