Ever try backing down a double or triple ramp only to be blinded by someone else headlights in your mirrors? push the park brake one or two clicks and the lights go off on most newer trucks vans etc try to tell as many as you can in a nice way

We have been going through that for years up here and some arguments have even ensued over it. Most folks don't know that all you have to do it turn the head light knobs offauto and they will go out while loading the boats and then to turn them back on just put it back on auto that they will come back on. The two clicks on the parking brake will work also but on my truck that red brake light telling you your parking brake is on does not light up until it is almost all the way down but then my truck is old too......... Most dummies like me would be riding around with their parking brake partically on and wonder why my head lights ain't workin............

i just figured out on my 99 2500 you got to have the parking break on and then turn the truck off then back on to get them to stay off.. but they will stay off till you take the p brake off.

I guess if you're "smart" enough to drive a Chevy they figure you'll need HELP see'n in the Dark....my '07 FORD has a SWITCH. Cut them on if it's DARK...LOL CYA
