I agree 100% Topdog. Bush is not going to do anything that does not make him and his cronies money. He needs to make as much as he can in the next 18 months.I think what they need to do is stop all construction of houses for 5 years nation wide Finish the ones that are stated and then stop any future house building. The housing market is in very serious trouble and they just keep destroying beautiful big farms and putting up million dollar homes on them and people cannot even get mortgages on the damn things. I have seen 5 beautiful 1500 acre farms go under new construction in the last 5 years and many of them have lake front property and they sold as fast as they got built and now you drive through the developements and 60 to 70 % of the houses are already up for sale cause folks are facing Foreclosure cause they can't make the notes on the homes. I realize that is going to upset a lot of construction workers but it will also un employ about 5.5 million illegal immigrants also. that should give them an incentive to go home. Also it will stop beautiful land from being destroyed. People have bad habit of living far beyond their means and then the slightest bump in the road wrecks their world. JMHO |
