Bonds Is that the name of a new Steroid I remember when the sports were steroid free and when records got broke they were done with hard work and alot of luck. Now they are broken with steroid pumped up drug machines and I just don't think it's fair. That is why I quit watching Baseball and about to quit watching football above college and if I find that they are catching college athletes using it and don't put a stop to it I will quit watching them also. To me watch that is like watching wrestling. Steroids have made sports all fake. JMHO |

How many remember when bonds use to slap his glove three times on his thigh before he caught a fly ball what a hotdog the BABE was half drunk when he played i guess that could have been called a performance dehancing drug and i think he pitched the first 5 yrs of his career and Hank went through a lot of abuse while he played So with that said i only acknowledge 2 hr kings THE BABE and HANK I will also give credit to the man from another land the japanese HR king Mr. OH i never liked bonds or his daddy either Give me the men that played the game because they loved it any day those were my baseball heros. |

Right on BP. I use to love baseball and growing up in Chicago we use to sneek into Comeski Park and wrigley field to watch the games till we got old enough to do concessions and then we all got jobs selling hot dogs and peanuts and such and got paid to watch the games.......LOL. Now we are talking the years when Nellie Fox Played second base and Louie Aprachio play short stop and the home run hitter back then we great players like Willie Mays , Ernie Banks, Stan Musial, Ted Williams etc etc. And Jack Brickhouse was the announcer for every sox home game for 40 years. |
