Well coontie, as Wild Bill Clinton once said " I FEEL YOUR PAIN". Last time I looked Tennessee ranked in the top 10 in the highest tax programs in the country and the politicians keep screaming that the state is broke. BUT we have the money to build a 450 Million Dollar Bunker under the Governors Mansion. This was the States First Ladies idea. People said NO NO NO to it and they broke ground last month. Yep the voice of the people means nothing to the politicians at the State or Federal level. They could not repair the States Health Program but they can spend 450 million on a damn basement. I think we have the second highest sales tax in the country at 9.25%. They added a 5 cent gas tax several years back to repair the roads and they are worse then ever. They rigged the lottery by making it a computerized draw instead of the balls bouncing around and rolling out and they got caught dirty twice with it so far with the computer picking the exact same numbers three days in a row and passed it off as a computer Glitch. I would say that was a pretty profitable Glitch so I quit playing the damn thing so they lost my 5 bucks a week. There is no doubt in my mind that a politician is a politician at any level and the Statement made by Sitting Bull just before he Killed Custard and the white man was trying to talk peace with him from Washington. He said the all of the people that live in the big white house back east SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUES and he was entirely correct cause while they were talking peace they were planning the attack on Sitting Bulls tribes. Japan learn how to do that also. They had representatives in Washington talking of Peace while their Fleet was steaming towards Pearl Harbor.
Ollie North was questioned about his activities on the Iran-Contra Scandal by of all people Al Gore and he asked Ollie North why he thought he needed an alarm system in his home that cost $5000.00 and Ollie replied that he feared for his life and the lives of his family and Gore asked him who he thought was going to harm them. Ollie said a Terrorist named OSAMA BIN LADEN and when Gore tried to repeat the name he stumbled all over his tongue and the whole Committee doing the inquest laughed at Gore and his not being able to pronounce the name. Well no one has a problem pronouncing it now do they? Well all I can say is the American people in every state has done a really good job of electing idiots to office and I imagine it will happen this time also. People need to believe like Sitting Bull and not believe anything they say because they speak out both sides of their mouths on every issue and address none of them directly. Off the soap box.......
