Is there a way to get the depth of the water you are in to show when in the chart mode without the split screen. In other words when running down lake and unit is showing the chart (map) I also want to know the depth of water I am in

you can, but you have to make sure that you are on the screen that you want to show it on. you can costomize each screen differently to match what you want to be showing. i used to rubn depth, temp, speed, and dae and time on my chart screen.
