Not sure if anyone else out there has purchased any of the Abu Garcia Vedict rods, but I have a few and would not reccomend them. I have broke 3 of these rods on the hookset and I'm not talking on big fish either. I think in their attempt to make a super light rod, Abu Garcia missed the boat....These rods while very light, are very fragile in my opinion. Step on one while it's on your laying on the deck and and it's broke or cracked at the very least. Maybe that's why you don't see any of the Abu Garcia sponsored pros using them. They are all using the Veritas rods which is what I think I am going to replace my Verdicts with through attrition. Any comments about anyone elses experiences with these rods would be appreciated.
