I saw a flyer for a $5,000 guaranteed first place tournament yesterday pinned to the side of the BFL trailer. I believe it was a charity tournament, and I can't remember everybody that was sponsoring it. I know I saw Keith Williamson construction sponsoring it. Can anyone give me details on it?

I don't know all of the details, but Keith is sponsering the "Tommy Shaw Memorial Tournament" in honor of the late Tommy Shaw. Tommy was an avid fisherman during his day, and at one time owned Little River Sportsman Camp (now Little River Marina). Tommy has been nominated to the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame by Bill Babb a Augusta Chronicle Sports Writer. The tournament is June 14 (the earliest date Keith could get the Wildwood Ramps) and I believe the cost is $75.00 per boat. I know the first place prise is $5000. Keith is working on getting an earlier date for the ramps next year.
