Me and my dad put in at bakers creek today and fished the little river. Caught 5 keepers,all small on texas rigged plastics. Then the day took a turn for the worse as I proceeded to Knock the lower unit COMPLETELY off my dads motor! OOps. Not sure what I hit but if you are runnin from bakers goin up little river not far past buffalo creek..........Beware. Hope this might prevent someone from makin the same mistake I did. :-?

Sorry to hear about your lower unit. There is a long flat point that comes way out from the right not far past Buffalo creek that is hard to tell that it is there, and you have to stay way to your left to avoid it. There are some volkswagon sized boulders up there as well as a ton of trees popping up everywhere even in the main channel close to the main lake. All of the ramps at Dorn were closed this past Thursday when I went out. The lake is very dangerous right now.

Sorry to hear about the lower unit. That is a tough place to navigate. JoJo counseled me on getting around up there many years ago and I never went back much.
