White Caps at 7am at Hawe Creek but looked like snow on the Alps by mid day on the main lake...took 3 over the bow coming in to dorn from near fishing creek..motor ran great..Thanks again Jaime!
D.Perkins won with 11 lbs-BF 4.17 , ' ol PM was 2nd with 8 lbs-BF 3.22, 6 lbs 3rd..the rest of the field was 2 and 3 fish. Was tough with the weather today..not easy to move around..(Phil Morris who operates District 96 does a class job and if anyone is looking for a draw trail I would highly recommend Phil's district.)
Fish were in pockets off main lake for me..sunny banks with wood or rock..if you found a little pocket within a pocket..it had a fish. Lost one that would have gone 6 lbs..all my fish were on small shallow running CB's..fished it stop and go..WT 49-52.

Good to see my bud Krobar (finally got a chance to get even in the points)..hope we both get to visit Kentucky in the fall for the classic!

BAIT trail had a tx out of Dorn this morning...looked like they had about 15 boats or so too. Hope everyone made it safe.
PM

Good job Jeff. We never made it above Bass Alley. Four to five footers in GA Little River! We fished 3 spots and had 8 lbs. It took 19 and change to win, and 14 and change for a check.

Good job Jeff, surprising pattern. Glad to hear ole Dewayne is still kicking - he is a good fisherman. Sounds like the difference was one big bite.

Cooter..this is not PortTronics Dewayne..this is another, Don Perkins.

Dink, you shoulda come around bass alley and took a look at what was coming down the pike
It stands to reason when the wind is blowing that strong..there are probably some stacked somewhere and if ya can find 'em against a steep bank or wall..you can catch the stew out of 'em quick..looks like some guys did Dink.

It's funny..but even when you do ok, if you lose a BF, it's all you think about..even when you put good hooks on little CB's they are still little treble hooks..Thanks Guys..

great job P-nut man, did you get to see the wind surfers out there? they were down by the dam , also was your truck OK? I stopped by Dorn on the way back from getting a part for champ man to fix my motor with and saw a bunch of squrrils scoping and sniffing around the p-nut truck.
Who was the guy in the grey bullet ? saw him and looked like he could not decide weather to go out or come in was trolling back and forth in front of the ramps with his rig in the water and big engine running. looked like a good crowd for both tourneys, win the next one!
