I am looking for the best ramp to use for a small club tournament in place of Dorn. We will be coming from the north and normally use Dorn and are very happy with it, but next year we have a conflict on our tournament date and need to find another ramp.

If you like putting in at the mid lake area, you could put in at Baker State park for a few bucks which is just a few minutes from Dorn right by the 378 Little river bridge, Soap Creek or Elijah Clark. The lake is almost full now so pretty much any of the ramps are good to go. If you are coming from the north and want to put in on the upper end of the lake, you could also look at Bobby Brown state park, Fishing creek, or Gills Point but keep in mind there is A LOT of standing timber up on that end of the lake, now mostly under the surface, and if you are not familiar with navigating the upper end, then I would say come on down to mid lake for safety.
