I case you didn't hear, the Corps is dropping the lake (now that it's full) to 326 for up to two years to do work on the spillway gates. Apparently they got stimulus money to do the work. Water starts dropping next week.

They are saying Russell's level will not be impacted and reserve water will be kept in Hartwell in the event they need it in Clarks Hill.

326 isn't bad, but we just got water! Come on!

Drop it on down! All my honey holes are too deep now! LOL! No seriously, that is really surprising and sad after such a long drought why drop it now? No wonder our government is such a mess. :-? :-?
