I went last night and this AM. I caight a few fish on Crankbaits and Jerkbaits. This AM was a bit tough but I am not sure why. Still finsihed with a limit but not the same quality as last weeks fish. Better days are ahead (I Hope)

Well didn't do any good with those hard headed striped fish this morning.
Put in at Hester Bottoms at day light and across to fishing creek.
Birds every where and diving picking up bait, NO FISH.
Trolled around for about two hours down and back up by power line.
Had a number of hits on Silver/Black Hot-N-Tot and Black/White Rattle Trap.
Finally stuck one good fish on Hot-N-Tot, but pulled off before we could even see what it was.

Stopped all that junk and started bass fishing.
Caught one about 2lbs. on the Hot-N-Tot.
Caught 5 more on CR using Water/Melon Green Gold Flake double dead ringer and green pumpkin red flake trick worm.

Best 5 would have gone around 7lbs..

Saw another boat fishing in one of the tournaments catch two on one of the points we were on and told him to come on by us, we were just playing. We left there and chased the birds until they left. We saw them culling so hope they did good in which ever tournament they fished. We went up the lake and checked the other three creeks and birds diving at bait in all of them. Water stained back at the bridge in Broad.

Hope this helps you load the boat if you go or stops you from having to ride all over the place looking.
