WE fished Greenwood out of Tower Point Landing yesterday morning. It was real hot and we stopped at 11:30. We caught a bunch of small fish beating the bank with a limetreuse and watermelon gold flake trick worm. A few others on CR greenpumpkin finese worm.

Noticed at Tower Point, they have put up a sign and started charging $2 dollars to launch. I guess that Sheet Head wanted more American Dolars.

Also noticed up the Reedy they have opened up the Public ramp.

Met some of Gunfishy's friends at Tower Point Under the shade tree waiting to weigh-in. They were having a small plant tournament. Great Bunch!

Didn't stay for the weigh-in, us Big Boned peoples need to find a shadey spot when it gets this hot.

Yall fishing SC LAKES TOURNY out there Saturday, GOOD LUCK. If you fishy shallow it better be early before sun come up. Then you better have some brush deep and find you some deep banks next to river channel and carry umbee or find big shade tree while waiting on 2 pm weigh-in. HOT! HOT! HOT!

Thanx for the report....its been awhile since dad and i have been up that way. When in the world did they start chargin at tower point??? If you dont mind me askin how is the water lookin up in the reedy as far as color and depth....thanx in advance....

Didn't even check the water temperature the other day, but it has got to be in the mid 80's. The water in both the Saluda and Reedy has some stain or the old river color. Up past Harris Landing and Reedy River Bridge. The Rabon Creek fork also has some color. The area around the Rabon Creek Bridge has a bunch of gar for some reason. The water mark on the bank looked like it had dropped a foot or less in the past couple of days. No water movement at all, because there was trash and stuff just floating. It looked just like you were on a pond with no wind. The last report I've heard from lower end was clear, clear, clear. Hey hope this helps, if you and your dad are coming down for the SC Lakes Tournament.
