The Small Timers club has moved the September 20, 2008 tournament to Lake Greenwood and we will be putting in at the Greenwood State Park.

We had 14 boats yesterday fishing the tournament. The best weight brought to the scales was 19 plus and big fish was 5 plus. Yep Terminator and Boogerman lucked up and finished in 1st Place again. The 2nd place team of Barry and Ray had 11 plus. The fish off will be next month and that Lake will be drawn on Friday before.

If you are going to Greenwood on your next trip, I would be throwing a Bubble Gum or Candy Corn floating worm around all the docks, brush and stick-ups you can cover. Plus caught some on Pop-R. We caught 16 fish and was culling the last one at 1:30.

I think Boogermans fish should be checked for stair-oids or hem-roids or something.

Jim those were some Obama fish, you could put some watermelon on the hook and they would wrap those big lips around it and not let go.

Hey Shot yep we tried a buzzbait and did not get the first fish to bust up on it. One of the first places we stopped at we have caught them on buzzbaits and was both chunking diffferent colors and different types, no bites. Picked up the pop-r and put one in the boat just over 3. Went back around the same area and put another in the boat over 3 on floating worm, where we had just covered with the buzzbaits. Picked up one more pound fish on that section of docks. Headed to the next spot and chunked out near the middle, one more on pop-r. Pulled in on the next set of docks and Craig put another 3 plus in boat on floating worm and one pound fish no help. Next dock he caught one more 3 plus on floating worm. We had 5 keepers and started culling before 8am. We caught 3 more on the next set of docks that didn't help. Started back tracking and picked up the 5 plus where we had caught one earlier. Next set of docks 2 more that may help cull 2. Go back to first place and pick up one more that isn't going to help. Last stop catch two more and one is close to 4 and is going to help. Head toward State park ramp and some are taking out so we put it on the trailer at 2 o'clock not taking in chances on being late for the 2:30 weigh-in. Good day on the water.
