18 boats made the 2day final this year on Greenwood. The nationals will be on Pickwick out of Florence Al Sept 26-Oct 2. Top 500 anglers nationally qualify based on points.

Fishing was tough for everyone (not as bad as clarks hill though) with guys saying the early tw bite was spotty and worked hard for a few bites.

The biggest 1 day sack was 16+.
Managed a couple on top but better ones would not stay hooked most were caught on worms and happy to have 21...Shared the lake with 5 lakes yesterday..today was a little more peaceful. Dist 96 is a good group of guys and tx dir., Phil Morris is class act
There were no non-boaters so as usual we all fished out of our own boats

Good weights for this time of year.

Congrads on the 21 pound sack.

Yous guys did really good for all the boat traffic, riding, looking, fishing and had to be a bunch of wave action. I could sit out in the back yard and hear the boats running back and forth.

They were water ski'n behind them tuna boats with 3' wakes..left side, right side, front and back...jet skis cuttin' accross..eventually was like boiling water....and getting bites was hard before the boat traffic..........not complainin'...just reality here.
WT's were in mid to upper 80's.
