The retiredguy and Charlie hung around the house this morning to make sure it was going to be a good day to go fishing. About 12:30 we decided, this is it, it's just to nice to stay at home. So, we launched at Irvine's at around 1 PM. We motored down the lake for a while and started fishing. I had decided to throw nothing but a Jig&Trailer and a #5 Shadrap. Well they didn't want my Jig but they did like my Shadrap. I tried all afternoon to get the old hardheaded furt to put on a #5 and after I caught my 3rd he finally put one on.. Well, don't you know it, they had just turned off and he never even had a nibble. So that was it, 3 nice little keepers. Charlie was my camera man and he failed to get a photo of the largest fish, so I have included the next biggest... tightlines... retiredguy

I see you guys were trolling according to the tach too

Naw, seriously I've been looking forward to reading this today. As I was stuck at work thinking about how great a day it would have been to be fishing it finally registered that today was a Tuesday/Thursday weekly Greenwood Senior Citizen Fishing Exploration

Glad to see you got your string stretched ........ how about letting the guide get one next time, LOL !
