I only fished for bass 2-3 hours each day due to work that needed to be done around the dock and house, but i caught a limit of bass each day c-riggin brush piles in 5-8 feet of water, and one on a jig. I had one fish about 4 lb and most of the others were 12 to 14 inch fish. I only caught fish below midlake, i couldnt buy a bite up the lake. Caught most fish on watermelon or green pumkin. I missed alot of fish on the main lake that bit the worm in half just behind the hook. the worm would be roughed up down to the point where it broke off. Probably had 10 or so hits that way. Anyone have any explanation on that?

We caught slab crappie of the dock all weekend. We kept about 20 or so and each of the neighbors had big baskets full of fish. Caught our crappie off brush in about 4-5 feet of water using medium to small minnows. We were fishing in greenwood shores. The lady at skippers was out of minnows sunday and said that everyone coming through seemed to be catching their limit easily. I will post a pic of little man (3 years old) and his biggest fish to date later tonight. It was the crappie of the weekend!

good report gamecock man. your right about the upper lake.me and mongo went saturday and could not buy a fish. threw every lure in the box. must of been biting the ones we dont have. guess thats reason enough to go buy more and maybe i will find the one they were bitting.
