SAturday was a booger of a day, 1st place w/one fish 4.45 (BF) :shock:

, 2nd 3 and change w/ one fish :-o

. Only two places (12 boats). Only one boat weighed in 2 fish and we didn't have enough weight (2 and change) :sad:

And guest what; we drew for the fish off next month and its Gwood again :hmm:

Should be better :roll:

My club fished Greenwood Saturday as well. Seems that we had a better day. We had 7 boats and 1st was 13.10 and 2nd was 7.9. and 3rd was 7.2. We also had 2 fish over 6. Seems that the majority caught the fish around docks and ramps in 10 feet or less of water. We could see the bottom in about 5 to 6 feet deep and could not see any fish but there sure did bite the bait. All the fish did come of the main lake. Did not seem like they were in the creeks yet.

yea greenwood doesnt seem to really turn on until late sept., then from then until feb. its usually really on in the creeks by then. unless your fishin a night tournament and im just not that great at night tx fisherman but went to a few this summer that if you didnt have 18 plus you werent in the money. maybe one day ill get that night bite down.
