Thanks Z for saying something...this group feeds like hungry fish when their looking for a report
Travis Horseshoe won again...SOLO with 15..said they weren't bitin' good
Even Tyler (solo also) had 5 fish for 9 lbs
Congrats to both!
Jimbo and I had fun, he kept sayin', "hey Jeff, think its gettin' warmer"
We chased birds early..then missed 3 fish on jnp & worm. Went to CB up river the rest of the day (after Jimbo stroked some white perch for a bit) and had our chances...we missed 2, after seeing them..both came off at the boat with net in hand
ready..but dove and came unbuttoned-both in the 5 lb range..got 3, just keepers for 4 lbs. WT 45 and stained. Could not fish up near my house in Rabon,
Skeeter1 and George already there
but they were not their today...or they would have got them..
Don't know who's fishin' next sat, I can't, but the fish were in the Reedy...not all the way up..from the split to the just beyond the fishin' pier...water is muddy in saluda but still some fish..nice stain in the Reedy.
It was a good morning...about 41 degrees till 9:30 then rain or sprinkles rest of the day..no heavy rain, no ice, no snow..good day to be fishin' for a toad..Travis had one.
