Just letting everyone know the lake was at full pool 440 Wednesday. Pictures have been taken so land owners and Greenwood county know where the property lines are. The lake will be taken down to 438 as fast as the generators at the dam can pull it down. I was told as fast as 7 to 10 days. That is a two foot drop and it is happening fast.
Check your boat if it is tied to the dock.

Well that just sucks, why don't they let the thing stay at full pool like they did in the past. We fished today and the lake looked like it use too. Back when they had willow and buck bushes around the bank. Before they cut them all down and made it a pleasure boat lake.

Greenwood hit 438' 0n Sunday 3/9/08. Supposed to be back up to 439' by 3/15/08 as promissed to DNR. That is a 1' rise this week. Level should be steady the rest of summer, weather permitting. Spawning should not be affected.

Had to go loosen dock lines on the 2 man hunter..2' down BANG!
There was bait back in Rabon creek and fish started to move in, their gone..last evening no sign of them...might not have been as bad if the Sat storm wasn't so bad..
Hope your right overall, Foottub, about not hurting the spawn...but it does effect the real shallow water fish back up here in the creek. Was hoping for a good one this year.

Saw 2 guys in a boat near Mahoney's in the creek throwing a casting net for bait right before dusk. Didn't look like they were getting a whole lot. Last week I had my boat tied to my dock and this week I won't even try to bring to the dock. Would have been nice to have the water up for the summer. Are they going to bring it up again?
