Fished with Easley Bassmasters out of Reeders this morning. Thought I'd share a near miss. Went down the lake at blast off and made a hard turn into a creek. At the same time a local came from his dock with no navigation lights and started going across the creek. I didn't see him until we were within 50 yards of each other. I am sure he under estimated my speed. Had I not done a hard stop, we would have hit.
Lessons learned:
1. Don't make hard / fast turns into "residential" creeks.
2. Always use your nav lights.

Great post Greenwood seems to me to be the worst lake for That kinda thing happening to me also. I wish all the Lake dwellers that live out there would read this

Also I would like to add that there are a good many floating logs up the Saluda river arm of the lake. Be careful out there.

Yep, Shot is correct with them pulling a bunch of water it is going to pull them logs and stuff out in the middle of the lake, so at BUST OFF and running in the backs of creeks you better be careful.

If you like fishing some stained water, you will find it in most of the creeks in the back, but water temp. seems to be holding around 50 degrees at it's best.
