Has anyone ever spun a prop on the hub? I was fishing yesterday at murray when I decided to move,I was up and running about 30mph when my motor started reving on up and my boat slowed and came off plane.My first thoughts were my prop has came off, after taking a look and finding it still there I figured it has spun on the bushing.I've heard of it before but its never happened to me.The boat would still pull ideling so luckily after a couple hours I made it in. I here they press them out and in, does anyone know of anyone in the Spart. area that does this?

It's happened to me before and yes they do press new ones in. Only person I know who does it is in Easley but may be others

I believe the guy in Easley's last name is Youngblood...I don't know the first name. I think he has a shop at his house.

That's it Rick "Youngblood" although I don't have his number he does nice work. Slow roller best bet is to take it to a dealer and they will have it serviced buy their vendor and will be done generally within a week. Good time to have the prop balanced and cleaned up also.

I got up this morning and took the prop off ,shaft still had splines on it so I called Holdens and they gave me Youngblood Prop Shop ph#864-855-1777 the guys name is Dennis.After explaining he agreed it was the hub and he had them in stock,he told me he picks up props at Holdens on thurs and returns them the following thurs,being close to the holidays he was'nt positive he could hold that schedule.I asked him where he lived and he told me Easley,If I wanted to bring it up myself he would do it while I waited,I've got it back on the boat and I'm ready to hit the water! I appreciate all the replies, ya'll were dead on it!
