Well when I got off work Friday morning at 8am I went straight home with the intentions of going hunting for a few hours. When I got home my dad hollered at and sadi he had been hearing them gobble for the last ten minutes. All right!! I put all my hunting crap on and set up on one side of the field there at the house ans made a few calls. GOBBLE GOBBLE. They were a long ways off down across the pond and creek. I waited about 20 minutes and they were not any closer. So I figured htese birds are not gonna come all this way. Then I decided to move across the field and into the woods alittle. When I had set back up and made 2 call they gobbled out in the filed. Two birds, all right!! I make another call and shut up. Well they start gobbling there heads off and coming in quick. They make it to about 75 or 100 yards out and then it happed. The stuff my wife had ordered had made it in at just the appropiate time. The UPS truck pulls up and runs my birds off (I am only hunting about 200 yeards from the house.) DANG DANG DANG. That is just how my season has went so far, but one thing is for sure 2 big birds gobbling there heads off at that distance will get your blood pumping real good. Now if the neighbor doesn't shoot them this weekend while I am at work next week I will get them in there earlier in the day or at least try to. LOL

Chris you are doing alot better than me. I still haven't gotten a bird this year. You are right though, I haven't seen birds act this funny since I started hunting them critters.
