i read about this kind of technique called roller jiggin. it sounded pretty cool and i figured i would try it. what kind of rod do yall prefer i use. remember now i just learnt a little on how to use a jig and dont know much about the rod preference. so any help would be great.

Ain't that when you use the big 3/4 or 1oz "Football" head type Jigs???? Their is a brand called Roller Heads or something....they got dimples like a Golf Ball. Some guy up Norf won a big tourny on them. I've never bought any of that particular brand but I did try some 3/4 oz football heads that way. You D.r.a.g. it not HOP it. I used the big 5" DT Hula Grubs. Got a fish or 2 on it, but it's too much like a C-rig for me....CYA

yeh. thats it. i just dont know what kind of rod to use. i figured a medium heavy for that little extra stretch but although the mono is suspossed to do that.
